On 4 July Feilding can expect some changes to the bus services. These changes were a result of your feedback in 2024, as part of our Moving Manawatū consultation. We’ve already rolled out a few small changes in January such as a change in the Commuter route in Palmerston North.

What you can expect to change:

• All services will be using EV buses and all dressed up in our fun Connect branding.

• Weekend services for both the Orbiter and Commuter, including Sunday!

For the Orbiter:

• Enhanced route, we’re offering some extra coverage across Feilding.

• More consistent frequency of services – the service will run approximately every hour.

• Saturday services will also see more consistency with timing, including an extra departure.

For the commuter:

• Extended hours in both directions to and from Feilding

• Weekend services will be more consistent

• The PNGHS service will depart five minutes earlier.

More detailed information like updated route map, timetable and bus stops will come in time. Make sure you’re following our Facebook page and keep an eye out for us out and about promoting these services throughout June.
